Eli's Coming - What a game, what a game. Definitely entertaining, and quite possibly the best Super Bowl ever. By the end of the third quarter, the game was competitive, but dull. In the fourth, both teams delivered the fireworks, for a great back and forth battle. Eli's escape of the Patriots D-Line and miraculous throw and catch by Tyree was nothing short of ridiculous.
Media Darling - New York? - In an odd twist, most of the country was actually rooting for the New York team because they couldn't stand to watch the other team win again. Any way you slice it, both teams played a classy game, and as much as some people hate the Pats, they took their beating like men and didn't make any excuses afterwards.
Finally! - After years and years of suffering, tortured New York fans have a championship! I mean, it's been eight years since they won something, so finally! (sarcasm) But there really needs to be someone, anyone outside of the Boston and New York areas that wins soon. West coast, where have you been in football and baseball lately?
And now.... - Our national nightmare begins. No more Sunday Fundays that last from 11 am to 11 pm. No more betting every weekend and having something to talk about with co-workers on Monday mornings. No more good reasons to sit around all weekend and do nothing. Seven long months without football. Choose your hobby, pass the time, and start counting down the days.
